to be marked as done.

Package: upower
Version: 0.9.22-1
Severity: important

This laptop's battery is old and doesn't stay charged for long.
This should not matter, since I'm operating on AC power anyhow.
Despite this, every now and then, GNOME warns me that the laptop
will be shutdown because the battery has reached a critical low.

Given how gnome-power-manager depends on upower for its power
management data, I'd assume that upower is the culprit for this
decision to shutdown the system even while running on AC power.
If not, feel free to reassign this report to the proper package.

Hello Martin-Éric,

you reported bug http://bugs.debian.org/727236 against a version of upower older than the one currently found in Debian jessie.

I guess you're running the latest version from Debian jessie by now. Do you still experience that problem with the current upower version in jessie?

It would be nice if you could test and reply, so this bug could be marked as fixed in jessie and closed.

Thanks,
*t

PS: If I may, then I'd like to suggest to look through the list of open
bugs reported by yourself and close the ones that are not valid any
     more:

Since there was no further information provided on this old bug report,
I'm going to close it especially since the power management stack has changed considerably since then.

Michael
