Package: dl10n
Version: 3.00+nmu1
Severity: normal
Tags: l10n

Dear Maintainers,

I get the message "gettext: common/po/sr_Latn.po: can't guess language"
regarding "backintime" package.

    https://i18n.debian.org/l10n-pkg-status/b/backintime.html

Technical the reason is a regex pattern in the "dl10n-check" script (package
"dl10n").

    https://sources.debian.org/src/dl10n/3.00%2Bnmu1/dl10n-check/#L694

It is now clear from any documentation which standard this regex pattern
follows. IMHO "sr_Latn" is a valid language code and works well in this package
using gettext. Also Weblate does offer this code for "Serbian (Latin)".

The message confuse "users" and give the i(IMHO wrong) mpression that something
is wrong with that package.

As upstream maintainer I would be glad to know the standard behind it so I can
follow.

Regards,
Christian
