Package: qmapshack
Version: 1.17.1-1+b6
Severity: normal
qmapshack's brouter setup wizard fails to parse the version of the jre
shipped with debian, resulting in being unable to complete the setup.
this is upstream https://github.com/Maproom/qmapshack/issues/664 .
they don't seem particularly interested in fixing this rather trivial
issue, so maybe debian should do that downstream - after all, the issue
is triggered by a downstream patch, too.

First time I hear about brouter using Java. qmapshack doesn't have JRE
dependencies, consider brouter not supported.

If the fix is trivial, please provide a patch and forward it upstream.
The QMapShack developer lacks time so don't expect any changes from him, see:
https://sourceforge.net/p/qlandkartegt/mailman/message/58813058/
The Debian package also doesn't have co-maintainers willing to spend time on
brouter support.
Kind Regards,
Bas
