Severity: normal

Hello,
when opening a new tab while iceweasel is in "print preview" mode does
not allow to close the "print preview" window and recover the original
menus (i.e. the "close" button does not work).
Here are the steps necessary to reproduce the bug:
1. open iceweasel e.g.
$ iceweasel -safe-mode
2. menu Edit->Preferences; "Tabs" tab -> check "Open new windows in a new
tab instead"
3. open a webpage
4. menu File->Print Preview
5. open a new webpage e.g. open a html file on your computer or click on
a link in an e-mail that redirects to a webpage
It is now impossible to close the print preview while visualizing the
new opened tab. The "print preview" can be closed only if the correct
tab is shown. However, it is possible to close the original tab while in
"print preview" mode. Once this has been done, you must restart
iceweasel to recover the original menus.
Thanks.

Version: 115.12.0esr-1+rm
src:iceweasel has been superseded by src:firefox-esr in version
45.0esr-1 in March 2016. Transitional packages to ease upgrades were
provided in the wheezy, jessie, stretch and buster releases. The
transitional packages have been removed finally before the bullseye
release in August 2021.
After regular security support for buster ended in August 2022 and LTS
support ended in June 2024, I'm closing the remaining bug reports now.
