My experience with .config/openbox/environment is there must be an export
command. Having an export command is consistent with the example at
http://openbox.org/wiki/Help:Autostart#Setting_up_your_environment .
.config/openbox/environment did not work, no environment was created,
without exporting. I have not persude it furthere. Still, I suggest to
patch data/environment, which is part of the source tar ball, as follows:
