Package: systemd-resolved
Version: 258-1
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainers,
Since upgrading to systemd-resolved 258-1, only the first search domain is
tried when there are several search domains.
Concretely, if either the global scope or an interface has
"Domains=example1.com example2.com example3.com" (and of course has an
associated DNS server configuration), then:
resolvectl query host
will fail if host.example2.com exists, while host.example1.com does not.
This behaviour is a regression in version 258-1. The versions in trixie (both
257.7-1 and 257.8-1~deb13u2) behave correctly.
Thanks,

I upgraded to 258.1-1 and I no longer have the issue. Thus closing.
