Since rear hasn't been maintained for over two years,
the software developer asked me if I would take over its maintenance.
I would be willing to do so as a DM.
I wrote to the current maintainer, Frédéric Bonnard,
via [email protected] on July 11th and September 4th, but unfortunately,
I didn't receive a response.
There were two NMUs that the current maintainer hadn't committed to git.
