Dear Maintainer,
I have Dell Inspiron N5110 laptop. It has two graphical card. One Intel and one
nvidia.I installed successfuly nvidiad driver from debian wiki:
http://wiki.debian.org/NvidiaGraphicsDrivers
Even when i use 'lsmod |egrep -i nvidia' i get the following result:
---------------
nvidia 10553969 0
i2c_core 19141 7
videodev,nvidia,i915,drm_kms_helper,drm,i2c_algo_bit,i2c_i801
---------------
When i use 'lspci |egrep -i vga' i get the following result:
---------------------
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 2nd Generation Core
Processor Family Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 09)
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation Device 0df5 (rev a1)
---------------------
You know according to xorg, xorg.conf file doesn't exist in /etc/X11 and we
must export it.I needed to manipulating it and decided to export it and
manipulate it.(install compiz and install synaptic touchpad)
I ran the following commands:
--------------------------
/etc/init.d/gdm3 stop
Xorg -configure :0
cp /root/xorg.conf.new /etc/X11/xorg.conf
/etc/init.gdm3 start
-------------------------
You know exported xorg.conf doesn't differ with xorg doesn't has xorg, But i
get the surprise error:
I see gdm3 page, but i didn't see login widget.When i remove xorg.conf file and
restart gdm3 i can see login widget.
Here is my exported xorg.conf:
