Severity: important
After logging out, instead of seeing the gdm3 login prompt,
I see a blank screen, with a working mouse. The same thing
happens when returning from a virtual terminal. Restarting
gdm3 (/etc/init.d/gdm3 restart) does not help.
As a workaround I installed xdm and configured to use it.
That eliminates the problem, though the login screen
isn't quite so nice looking.
