Got gnome screen freezes (with mouse still displaying and moving). Some
time it's recoverable, but mostly I was reduced to shift to TTY to
reboot or restart gnome.

It's related to network problem as it can occur at the moment I unplug
network wire cable.

Found those repeted messages in syslog:
