Package: gdm3
Version: 3.14.1-3

Package: kdm
Version: 4:4.11.13-2

I have both GNOME and KDE desktops installed.
My system was/is set to startup with the kdm login screen.

After upgrading from Debian Stable(Wheezy) to Debian Testing(Jessie)*,
There are several 'starting GNOME Display Manager' errors shown.

During login I see at around 4 times:
starting GNOME Display Manager...
[FAILED] failed to start GNOME Display Manager.
See 'systemctl status gdm.service' for details.
[DEPEND] Dependency failed for X11 Display Manager.

Then the KDE login display shows up fine, and I can log in.

*via /etc/apt/sources.list by changing 'Stable'/'Wheezy' to 'Jessie', `sudo
apt-get
update`, `sudo apt-get --download-only dist-upgrade`, `sudo apt-get
dist-upgrade`, ...

There have been many changes to Debian since this bug was originally
reported. If you are still experiencing this issue with Debian 13 (or
with Debian 12 or Testing or Unstable), please report a new bug.

Thank you,
Jeremy Bícha
