Package: gnome-shell
Version: 3.22.3-2
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?

An apt upgrade containing network-manager (1.6.2-2, 1.6.2-3)

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?

    apt upgrade

   * What was the outcome of this action?

gnome-shell crashed. As I use a GNOME Wayland session, this closed the
session and displaid GDM.

The system journal contains:

kernel: gnome-shell[4078]: segfault at 10 ip 00007fd67e5768f1 sp

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

The session to keep running, or some confirmation before killing the
session.

Thanks for maintaining gnome-shell!
