Package: epiphany-browser
Version: 3.4.2-2.1
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
* What led up to the situation?
aptitude install epiphany-browser
aptitude purge epiphany-browser
try to open a link in icedove
* What was the outcome of this action?
nothing happened
* What outcome did you expect instead?
open the link in iceweasel
google led me to try these commands, which said iceweasel was already the
default and did not help
# update-alternatives --config x-www-browser
# update-alternatives --config gnome-www-browser
finally, in iceweasel options menu, I clicked a button to set it as default,
which resolved the problem.
