Package: gnome
Version: 1:2.28+3

I have set up my laptop to suspend to ram when I close the lid. This
works fine. However, when I want to power off, I want to be able to
close the lid without the suspend sequence being started. This is
especially important, because suspend is much faster than shutdown.
This means that if I close the lid too early, it will suspend. The next
time I boot, it will wake up and shut down, with a drained battery.

Conclusion: please disable suspend (at least when triggered by lid
closure) when shutting down (or hibernating, for that matter, but I
didn't check if that is a problem).

I'm not sure if this is the right package to report this to. Please
reassign as appropriate.

Thanks,
Bas
