--- Begin Message ---Package: gnome-power-manager Version: 2.32.0-2 Severity: minor File: /usr/lib/gnome-power-manager/gnome-inhibit-applet Tags: upstream Hi! I'm a bit uncertain when the inhibit actually would inhibit suspend. It doesn't seem to do that though on lid close, which I would expect. At times, when I'm on the road, I like to use my laptop as music player, but in general would like it to suspend on lid close nevertheless. Somehow I assumed that the applet would enable me to do that. There is a workaround, using the suspend function key on my laptop and let the powermanager settings set to just blank the screen on lid close, I guess a configure option for also supressing suspend on lid close though could be very helpful. Thanks for considering adding it, Rhonda -- Package-specific info: Distro version: wheezy/sid Kernel version: 2.6.38-2-amd64 g-p-m version: 2.32.0 HAL version: 0.5.14 System manufacturer: missing System version: missing System product: missing AC adapter present: yes Battery present: yes Laptop panel present: yes CPU scaling present: no Battery Information: battery.charge_level.current = 24408 (0x5f58) (int) battery.charge_level.design = 47520 (0xb9a0) (int) battery.charge_level.last_full = 47520 (0xb9a0) (int) battery.charge_level.percentage = 51 (0x33) (int) battery.charge_level.rate = 13597 (0x351d) (int) battery.is_rechargeable = true (bool) battery.model = 'Primary' (string) battery.present = true (bool) battery.rechargeable.is_charging = false (bool) battery.rechargeable.is_discharging = true (bool) battery.remaining_time = 6462 (0x193e) (int) battery.reporting.current = 2260 (0x8d4) (int) battery.reporting.design = 4400 (0x1130) (int) battery.reporting.last_full = 4400 (0x1130) (int) battery.reporting.rate = 1259 (0x4eb) (int) battery.reporting.technology = 'Li-ion' (string) battery.reporting.unit = 'mAh' (string) battery.serial = '10315 2008/06/23' (string) battery.technology = 'lithium-ion' (string) battery.type = 'primary' (string) battery.vendor = 'Hewlett-Packard' (string) battery.voltage.current = 11187 (0x2bb3) (int) battery.voltage.design = 10800 (0x2a30) (int) battery.voltage.unit = 'mV' (string) UPower data: Device: /org/freedesktop/UPower/devices/line_power_C23B native-path: /sys/devices/LNXSYSTM:00/device:00/ACPI0003:00/power_supply/C23B power supply: yes updated: Fri Apr 29 06:40:19 2011 (39814 seconds ago) has history: no has statistics: no line-power online: no Device: /org/freedesktop/UPower/devices/battery_C23D native-path: /sys/devices/LNXSYSTM:00/device:00/PNP0C0A:00/power_supply/C23D vendor: Hewlett-Packard model: Primary serial: 10315 2008/06/23 power supply: yes updated: Fri Apr 29 17:43:44 2011 (9 seconds ago) has history: yes has statistics: yes battery present: yes rechargeable: yes state: discharging energy: 24.408 Wh energy-empty: 0 Wh energy-full: 47.52 Wh energy-full-design: 47.52 Wh energy-rate: 13.5972 W voltage: 11.187 V time to empty: 1.8 hours percentage: 51.3636% capacity: 100% technology: lithium-ion History (charge): 1304091764 51.364 discharging 1304091748 51.523 discharging History (rate): 1304091764 13.597 discharging 1304091748 15.293 discharging Daemon: daemon-version: 0.9.9 can-suspend: yes can-hibernate yes on-battery: yes on-low-battery: no lid-is-closed: no lid-is-present: yes is-docked: no GNOME Power Manager Process Information: rhonda 4435 0.0 0.5 94432 10660 ?
