Package: gnome-settings-daemon
Version: 3.4.2+git20121218.7c1322-3+deb7u3
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
* What led up to the situation?
Try printing on a disconnected remotre printer
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
Send a job to printer - Wait for a warning telling that printer is
disconnected
* What was the outcome of this action?
No message received
* What outcome did you expect instead?
Warning or error telling that the printer is not reachable, or disconnected
This seems to happen after this patch
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=683577 was included in upstream.
Nevertheless in RH systems this warning is shown, which does not apply
in Debian systems
