Package: gnome-software
Version: 41.0-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer, hi!

I was looking, through Gnome-software, at some programs that are installed on
my Debian and to my surprise I came across something a little unusual.
In gnome-software when I accessed the "add-ons" option, then "codecs", I
noticed that the installed codecs said that the license for that lib/package
was "Private", but the origin of that package was "debian-bookworm-main ".
Out of curiosity I decided to look at the "copyright" file of that lib I was
looking at, through the terminal. All information obtained from the result were
free licenses.
The problem occurs with: libs "GStreamer", Sigil program, GnuCash, WinFF,
Brasero, OpenLP, etc...
The programs/libs I reported above were chosen at random in gnome-software and
for all these examples the free license type was expected.
In a way that made me a little worried. If a common user comes across one of
these packages and sees that the licenses are private, maybe he won't download
these programs... Or maybe a little worse, maybe the opposite can happen, when
the user verifies that the informed license is free but actually maybe a
proprietary/non-free program. :/

PS: Sorry for any grammar mistakes... I speak Portuguese. :)
