Package: nautilus
Version: 3.4.2-1
Severity: normal
When trying to display a file's properties or tags, nautilus hangs
completely (no reaction to any mouse clicks) without any timeout until
it gets a response from the tracker daemon, and tracker won't respond
until it is properly started up.
The only solution other than waiting for tracker to start up (takes
about 55 minutes on my system) is to terminate the tracker processes,
which allows nautilus to continue. That is, until the next properties
you want to see, because then a tracker startup is triggered and it
needs to be terminated all over again. Continue ad nauseam for every
file properties you want to view.
