This is a legacy location, and is only searched because we apply a
Debian-specific patch to libgirepository. Instead, please install the
typelib file into /usr/lib/${DEB_HOST_MULTIARCH}/girepository-1.0.
The easiest way to do this (untested) should be to edit
debian/gir1.2-packagekitglib-1.0.install and replace:
usr/lib/*/girepository-1.0/*.typelib usr/lib/girepository-1.0/
with:
usr/lib/*/girepository-1.0/*.typelib
When all of the 6 remaining packages that use the legacy location have
been fixed, we will be able to stop patching libgirepository.
