When slrn is startet from the kde-menu it segmentation-faults, 
when I try to save a message with “o”-key.

Hello,

thanks to your debugging, I was able to find that this was fixed
upstream[1], and included in debian package since version 1.0.1-1:

   slrn pre1.0.0 change 27: Avoid prompt==NULL deref in rline_update

Therefore, I am closing the bug.
