Package: 7zip
Version: 25.01+dfsg-1~deb13u1
The package property "Provides: p7zip, p7zip-full" is misleading.
When I read this I expect the package will install p7zip which I assume is
not the case.
It is my understanding that p7zip it the very old version of 7zip, the one
you should be sure NOT to install, e.g. it has compatibility issues with
the 7z format used today.

Hello,

"Provides:" line is not for humans, but for package manager programs.
This line suggests for package manager that replaces from p7zip to 7zip.
If you wants detailed info, check the Debian policy manual for packaging.
