hi,
i own a dvb-t USB stick which is driven by dvb-usb-af9015.ko. this
module asks for a firmware blob "/lib/firmware/dvb-usb-af9015.fw".
with my dvb-t stick a cd was shipped which contains a firmware blob
that does NOT work with the stick! that's really nasty! ;)
i found a working image of the firmware by simply googling for the
firmware file name here:
http://jusst.de/manu/fw/AFA/dvb-usb-af9015.fw_a-link
sorry, but i didn't find out anything concerning legal stuff like
copyright holder or a license.
cheers - fuddl

Closing this bug as the copyright and licence for this firmware were
never resolved.
If you or anyone else are able to sort that out, you should submit the
firmware to linux-firmware.git first as that is now the upstream project
for firmware-nonfree.

Always try to do things in chronological order;
it's less confusing that way.
