Package: ssmtp
Version: 2.64-8

Description: as root or a user in the mail group, I have the following error
when using ssmtp
$ /usr/sbin/ssmtp [email protected] < /tmp/mail.txt
*** glibc detected *** /usr/sbin/ssmtp: free(): invalid pointer: 0x00a72484 ***

Architecture is 3.4.103-g9a1cd03 #1 SMP PREEMPT Sun Nov 2 18:38:54 CET 2014
armv7l GNU/Linux
$ dpkg -s libc6 | grep ^Version
Version: 2.19-12

Note that I installed the testing version, but I had the same error with 2.64-7
from wheezy.

Might not be useful, since related to bug 769013 concerning reportbug, but I
have the following:
$ reportbug -q --template -T none -s none -S normal -b --list-cc none -q ssmtp
