Package: pan
Version: 0.108-1
Severity: minor

I did not see this mentioned anywhere and it will affect users upgrading
from Sarge to Etch if this version makes it to the release.

The configuration files for the new version of PAN are incompatible with
the old version. Current PAN users will loose their subscribed groups,
article history, and all filters. The new version of PAN will need to be
reconfigured from scratch.

I don't see a way around this for the transition. Perhaps the new
version should carry a different name or post a warning during
installation that the settings will need to be reconfigured.
