Package: icecast2
Version: 2.3.0-2
Severity: normal

Hi Jonas,

Thanks a lot for fixing YP support - we're up and rolling again!

I was playing around with new functionality in 2.3.0 and I've added URL
authentication which is working fine. Now, I don't
know if this is related or not - but I'm seeing a problem whereby when a source
disconnects and then reconnects from
somewhere else pretty much straight afterwards, it crashes the icecast process.

I can't always repeat it, but it seems to happen when studio 2 uses
killsource.xsl on studio 1's source, or studio 2
disconnects and studio 1 tries to connect almost the same times. We need to
observe very short delays between
loss/reconnect, you see.

Here are the logs from the two incidents it has happened. You can see the
"break periods" which is when the icecast2 daemon
has died.

So I'm not sure if it's authentication related. I don't really want to fiddle
around too much unless under your instruction,
as this is a production stream. Let me know if there's any specific I can do to
help find out what's going on! We also have
a fallback-mount specified which I don't believe was running at the same time,
but surely that shouldn't cause it to crash?

Thanks in advance.
Chris.
