Package: gdesklets
Version: 0.23-3
Severity: normal
Tags: sid
These gdesklets are really cool but in theory they would be "sticked" on
the desktop not affecting at all the behaviour of the rest of windows
used to work with applications.
Am I missing something in the configuration or having gdesklets on your
desktop affects the way that new windows of other applicatons are open?
For instance, if I open an application, the new wndow will have the size
of a full screen but will open just in the right of the gdesklet
situated more in the right. This means that I see 60% of the screen of
the application, the rest is off the screen and I must pull it wit the
mouse. Clicking the "fit screen" button will frame the window in the
space left between the gdesklets and the top right of the screen (I have
all my desklets in the left side).
If this is the behaviour expected from the gdesklets in this early
stage... that's right but what a pitty because in order to work
efficiently I'll need to deactivate then.
Thank you.
Quim
