This is a follow-up bug for #1010445, which was closed because Antoine
volunteered to update mono. He recently orphaned it, so this is probably
not moving anymore.
The only non-RC application package that depends on mono is keepass2.
There is a compatible alternative in the archive: keepassxc.
So in my opinion, we should not keep mono around for forky. Maybe Roland
as keepass2 maintainer wants to volunteer to keep mono up to date. But
if nobody jumps in, we should probably keep all mono packages out of
testing. mono is not a key package anymore, so this bug will reach that
suggested state via autoremoval in a while. If you disagree, feel free to
leave a note with a severity reduction.

We have got an ITA now, which is probably an outcome of this bug.
So this has served its purpose.
