Package: w3m
Version: 0.5.1-4
Severity: normal
Hi,
When resizing windows, my window manager keeps asking xterms to refresh
their content, so that w3m keeps getting SIGWINCH. This triggers hangs
and crashes.
It seems that w3m sets resize_handler() as SIGWINCH handler when loading
images. This is a really wrong idea: only very few library functions can
safely be called from a signal handler, see man 2 signal. Even ioctl()
isn't in the safe list...
Regards,
Samuel

Linux, c'est simple : ça s'adresse à une machine qui est parfois un peu
maraboutée mais qui d'habitude n'a pas d'états d'âme. Sur Usenet y'a
plein d'humains et de primates, et ça devient vraiment gore par moment.

These got fixed with upload of 0.5.1-5
Will, could you please try to trigger bug 305879 again? I suspect the
fix for 336120 fixed it too.
