Package: screen
Version: 4.2.1-3
Severity: wishlist
Currently, chdir changes a screen-wide idea of the current working
directory, used for opening any new window. I'd like screen to track a
current working directory on a per-window basis, and use that when
opening a new window when currently looking at that window. Together
with shell integration similar to that used for vte/gnome-terminal, that
would allow opening a new window in the current directory of the current
window, without hacks like digging through /proc.
