gscan2pdf depends on libgoocanvas2-perl, which is a Perl binding for the
unmaintained library goocanvas-2.0 (see #1112390).
If I understand correctly, the suggested replacement is to use a
GtkDrawingArea (GTK 3 or 4) or the Gsk scene graph (GTK 4).
