Package: gscn2pdf
Version: 0.9.29

When I scan a document using gscan2pdf with a Canon 600MP printer/scanner I get a clear scanned picture. I then select a section using the rectangular select tool and try to OCR that selection using Tesseract or GOCR. In both case the whole page is processed not just the selected portion.
Can you please help.

I am using Ubuntu 10.04 AMD 64 package.

- Cheers, David.
