Package: network-manager
Version: 0.9.10.0-3
Severity: normal

The latest update has broken the use of dhcp-client-identifier as a means of
ensuring a fixed IP address. The reason seems to be that the dhclient.conf
generated by NetworkManager puts the dhcp-client-identifier in quotes, whereas,
as a hex string it should not be enclosed in quotes.

So I'd be glad if that could be fixed...

Thanks,

Johannes

dhclient support was removed upstream in 1.58.0, making this bug report obsolete. Thus closing. If you still have problems with the internal dhcp client, bug file a new bug report.

Michael
