We're going to fetch the data, but this test case doesn't provide
anything to fetch. Later, we will introduce tests that actually

This indeed inclusded a complete revert of "d-r-s t2u: accept and pass
through pristine-tar metadata". But *that* commit, as per its commit
message, isn't just a test commit. We should have reverted only the
test case.
This error broke pristine-tar support. But, it only broke when 15.11
was deployed on the oracle, which happened only very recently.
