Bluez significantly improved and stabilized support for the LC3 Bluetooth
codec in the release 5.86 on Feb 10, 2026 - see the changelog:

But Debian still ships the release 5.85 (5.85-4 for now), with which the
LC3 codec is pretty unstable.
To fix this issue, please upgrade the bluez package to the version 5.86, to
provide a more stable behaviour of Bluetooth headsets with LC3 (Low
Complexity Communication Codec) Bluetooth codec.
