Hi,
I am trying to dry-run the dhclient program to request a lease from the
server for debugging purposes. At the same time, I am already holding a
lease on the same interface, which is why I don't want to release the
existing lease, as I have no decent access to the remote machine.
According to the man page, I should be able to run dhclient with "-n" to
do just that, but:
# dhclient -d -v -n -w wlp59s0

I originally stumbled over this bug on a different Linux distro, but
have no good way to report a problem there atm. But that way I am very
confident that this is an upstream problem.
