Dear fontforge maintainers,

fontforge-nox crashes during `Open()` when run on the femkaklaver font.

```
fontforge -script $CURDIR/debian/clear-fstype.pe $CURDIR/femkeklaver.ttf
Program root: /usr
Copyright (c) 2000-2023. See AUTHORS for Contributors.
 License GPLv3+: GNU GPL version 3 or later [...]
 Version: 20230101
 Based on sources from 2023-01-18 18:05 UTC-D.
make[1]: *** [debian/rules:7: execute_before_dh_auto_build] Segmentation fault (core dumped)
```

https://salsa.debian.org/fonts-team/fonts-femkeklaver/-/jobs/3918430

What is strange is that this crash is observable and reproducible only inside pbuilder or lxc containers (for example on salsa). When run from the command line the script succeeds as expected.

Regards,
