Dear Maintainer,
randomly during
$> systemctl restart mailutils-imap4d.service
IMAP4 daemon does fail to (re-)start with
$> journalctl -eu mailutils-imap4d
systemd[1]: mailutils-imap4d.service: Scheduled restart job, restart counter
is at 5.
systemd[1]: mailutils-imap4d.service: Start request repeated too quickly.
systemd[1]: mailutils-imap4d.service: Failed with result 'start-limit-hit'.
systemd[1]: Failed to start mailutils-imap4d.service - GNU IMAP4 daemon.
It seems that the daemon does too often fail to come up. I'm not sure
what the origin of the issue, but as work-around it works to set in
* /usr/lib/systemd/system/mailutils-imap4d.service
StartLimitBurst=0
I provide a patch as reply to this report.
Greets, Dirk.

Closes: 1065706 1118701 1141654
Changes:
mailutils (1:3.21-1) unstable; urgency=medium
.
* New upstream release (closes: #1141654).
* Update watch file to version 5.
* Use Type=simple instead of Type=forking in systemd service files
(closes: #1065706, #1118701).
* Restore libmailutils.so.9 symbols dropped in 3.21 without a SONAME bump.
* Move libmu_py.so.9 and libmu_scm.so.9 into python3-mailutils and
mailutils-guile, so plain mailutils installs no longer pull in
python3 and guile.
* Downgrade libmailutils9t64's dependency on libmu-dbmX from a hard
Depends to a Suggests, fixing a circular library dependency caused
by the uidnew sieve module.
* Remove unused lintian overrides.
