The current FastTrack repository structure for Debian 13 (Trixie) breaks
traditional line-based `.list` parsing, creating a regression for system
administrators who rely on `.list` files for standard automation pipelines.
The official Trixie sources.list(5) documentation states that the legacy
single-line `.list` format continues to be fully supported. However,
because
FastTrack spans multiple suites simultaneously (`trixie-fasttrack` and
`trixie-backports-staging`), it is architecturally impossible to map these
into standard `.list` lines without apt triggering signature validation
loops
or "Release file not found" errors.
Since the OS promises backward compatibility for configuration files, the
FastTrack infrastructure should either be restructured to support split
`.list`
entries, or the fasttrack.debian.net documentation must explicitly state
that legacy `.list` syntax is broken and unsupported for this repository.
