Dear Maintainer,
Since installing Bullseye sddm-greeter started reporting warnings to the journal
lip 02 03:57:40 sddm-greeter[20366]: QFont::fromString: Invalid description
'(empty)'
lip 02 03:57:40 sddm-greeter[20366]:
file:///usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt5/qml/SddmComponents/LayoutBox.qml:35:5: QML
Connections: Implicitly defined onFoo properties in Connections are deprecated.
Use this syntax instead: function onFoo(<arguments>) { ... }
Seems it is a change in QT syntax for connections.
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/62297192/qml-connections-implicitly-defined-onfoo-properties-in-connections-are-deprecat
Simmilary in qt-5 manual
https://doc.qt.io/qt-5/qml-qtqml-connections.html
It doesn't seem to impact functionality.

Both warnings in the original report have been fixed upstream.
* 82af2534211f39c158ecb75f467bc90a132c53bc converted the Connections handler in
LayoutBox.qml to function onCurrentLayoutChanged(), fixing the deprecated
implicit onFoo syntax.
* 93e0d5d2433ac10f92aaa22bc280750059bb7fee fixed font configuration deserialization so that an empty font string is not parsed as a QFont, addressing the QFont::fromString: Invalid
description '(empty)' warning.
The font fix was already included in Debian 0.20.0-1.
The later Connections fix was first included in 0.21.0+git20241213.4a9aa2e-1,
which contains both fixes. Closing with that historical fixed
version for the two reported warnings.

Boyuan Yang
