Dear Maintainer,

libvbz-hdf-plugin 1.0.13-1 fails to build from source on loong64 with GCC 15
due to a false positive -Warray-bounds warning promoted to an error by -Werror.

Build log:
https://buildd.debian.org/status/fetch.php?pkg=libvbz-hdf-plugin&arch=loong64&ver=1.0.13-1&stamp=1782758258&raw=0

The error:
  vbz/v0/vbz_streamvbyte_impl.h:88:23: error:
'void* __builtin_memcpy(void*, const void*, long unsigned int)'
    offset [0, 3] is out of the bounds [0, 0] [-Werror=array-bounds=]
     88 |             output[i] = input[i];

This is a known GCC 15 false positive in the -Warray-bounds check at -O3. The
code itself is correct.
GCC 16, which is now available in sid, fixes this false positive. I have
verified that libvbz-hdf-plugin builds successfully on loong64 with GCC 16.
Could you please rebuild this package on loong64? No source changes are needed.
This is important because many packages on loong64 depend on libvbz-hdf-plugin,
and they are currently blocked by this build failure.

Thanks,
Na Zhang

In that case you'd want that the build is retried. This is handled via
give-back for wanna-build. See
https://release.debian.org/wanna-build.html

Given back.

Cheers
