Version: 1.2.9-0rc1+1
Severity: normal

Hi,

I was trying to add a rule with the limit module (-m limit option) and
received an "iptables: Invalid argument" error message.
The problem has been reported to the netfilter list in this thread before:
http://lists.netfilter.org/pipermail/netfilter-devel/2003-January/010195.html

There was a fix mentioned but it seems that this has not been incorporated,
yet.

Kind regards

Lars Ehrhardt

Linux 2.6.17 introduced kernel changes that probably solve the
64-bit alignment problems reported against the iptables package.
The changes might have solved all the 64-bit issues--I really don't
know, but I closed all of the bug reports anyway.

Please file new reports where appropriate or mail me.
