Package: mpt-status
Version: 1.1.6-7

When installing mpt-status on a machine without any mpt devices, the
mptctl kernel module isn't loaded, and the init.d script report an
error during boot:

  * The mptctl module is missing. Please have a look at the README.Debian.gz.
  .

The '*' is red to emphasize the error.

On machines without any mpt devices, this error is quite disturbing.
Please change the init.d script to be more quiet on machines without
mpt devices? Perhaps the /proc/scsi/mptspi/ directory can be used as
an indicator for machines with such device?

Friendly,
