Package: dokuwiki
Severity: normal
Hi,
dokuwiki depends on php4, which is not provided by
libapache2-mod-suphp. This makes dokuwiki unuseable on systems that
use suphp.
Greetings
Marc

Hi,
The dependencies of dokuwiki are now :
Depends: apache | apache2-mpm-prefork | apache-ssl | apache-perl |
httpd-cgi, php4 | php5, debconf (>= 0.2.26) | debconf-2.0, ucf
Thus, given this set of dependencies :
libapache2-mod-suphp depends on suphp-common
suphp-common depends on php4-cgi|php5-cgi
php4-cgi|php5-cgi depend on php4-common|php5-common
php4 depend on libapache2-mod-php4 (>= 4:4.4.4-1) | libapache-mod-php4 (>=
4:4.4.4-1) | php4-cgi (>= 4:4.4.4-1), php4-common (>= 4:4.4.4-1)
(same kind of dependencies for php5)
You just have to install the pseudo-package php4 or php5 according to
the version you use. Then you will be able to install dokuwiki.
Yes, it's a bit tricky ..
Reopen the bug if you think there is a better solution.
