Package: swish++
Version: 5.15.3-3
Severity: normal
I am just trying swish++, and when I go to run index++ I get
index++: error: could not read index from "swish.index"
It doesn't matter whether the index file doesn't exist, or does exist
but is of zero size, or what the permissions on the directory and files
are. This is attempting to run things as root. Running strace doesn't
give me any clues either. The end of the trace is always a stat
followed by the output of the above error message.

I finally did get it to work, so I suppose this should get
closed. I don't know if resolved is a good description for
what happened. I think some of it could be cleared up with
the documentation, and one thing is wish list.
So I am closing this bug report.
Regards,
Kapil.
