Hello,
I was sent a PDF version 1.4 created by "PDFCreator Version 0.8.0" that
I can't read using gv. The display shows empty boxes, partially placed
one over another, and character sequences like '!M' or '?M'. Only the
main headlines are readable.
FWIW, xpdf 3.00-13 has no problem displaying the whole file.
Best,
