Package: gs
Version: 6.53-3
Severity: normal
I upgraded gs from 6.51-7 and discovered, that anti-aliasing has some problems.
The old version seem to have not this problem, also x11 without anti-aliasing
seems to have no problems.
An example is on the http://stud4.tuwien.ac.at/~e9925248/gstest.ps.gz . It is
was produced with open-office, by putting two small image and a big in a
document an print to a file (a big debian logo and two small pixmaps).
With x11alpha it only show one of 3 images on the page.
With x11 the problematic Parameter of -sDEVICE=x11 -dTextAlphaBits=4
-dGraphicsAlphaBits=2 -dMaxBitmap=1000000 is MaxBitmap. If it is bigger than
1000000, two images disappear, smaller values like 1000 work.
gv and kghostview show the same problems.
