Package: spamassassin
Severity: important

I found an error in /etc/init.d/spamassassin that breaks the start of
spamd and reports that option ENABLED= ist not set to 1 in
/etc/default/spamassassin.
But it is set to 1 !

I found the mistake in /etc/init.d/spamassassin on line 21 . Settings
changed from ENABLED=0 to ENABLED="" solves the problem and I get a
spamd.pid and no reports about the above on startup.
I don't know if this is the correct way and that's why I don't attach
a patch.

Best regards Jens

There seems to be some confusion about this bug, which, as far as I
can tell, is still unreproducible.

Closing. Sorry for the delay.
