Package: spamassassin
Version: 3.1.0a-1bpo1
Severity: minor
The logcheck files in spamassassin need a few minor tweaks.
1. The following rules appear to be out of date and don't match anything
anymore:
a)^\w{3} [ :0-9]{11} [._[:alnum:]-]+ spamd\[[0-9]+\]:( spamd:)? server hit by
SIGCHLD$
b)^\w{3} [ :0-9]{11} [._[:alnum:]-]+ spamd\[[0-9]+\]:( spamd:)? handled cleanup
of child pid [0-9]+$
2. The following rule should be added:
a) ^\w{3} [ :0-9]{11} [._[:alnum:]-]+ spamd\[[0-9]+\]:( spamd:)? handled
cleanup of child pid [0-9]+ due to SIGCHLD ?$
3. The naming of the logcheck files is inconsistent. The file in
ignore.d.paranoid is named spamassassin. The file in ignore.d.server is
named spamd.

All the logcheck rules moved to the logcheck-database package. They
were dropped from spamassassin in 3.1.1-1 and added to
logcheck-database in 1.7.
I'm going to assume that this problem has been fixed. If not, please
reopen and reassign to logcheck-database.
Sorry for the delay.
