Package: sawfish
Version: 1:1.3+cvs20050709-6
Severity: normal
Starting the KDE audio player amaroK (version 1.3.6-1, but problems
occur with older versions too) on a GNOME/sawfish desktop often, but
not always leads to several wierd effects:
- opening the main amaroK window from the tray icon in the GNOME panel
opens the windows as if it were on its "own" workspace.
I.e. all other windows get hidden.
When I click on a window in the GNOME panel window list, I get the
other windows back, hiding the amaroK window in turn. There seems
to be no way to get the amaroK window displayed alongside other
windows, then.
- the window decoration of new windows are completely messed up:
there's only a small title bar and the border around the window is
completely gone. Rolling up the window to titlebar-only and then
un-rolling it again seems to restore proper decorations.
(I'm using the "arctic" theme)
Feel free to reassign this bug if it is in fact a bug of a different
package, but I feel at least the fact that the window decorations of
other apps get messed up too is a bug of the window manager.
Thanks in advance,
Florian

I see, I will close the bug. If you or anyone else can confirm the bug
later, the report can simply be reopened.
