? Well, no. TBH I even believe that deboostrap will refuse such an arrangement, because AFAIK, the principle is that Debian wants to avoid unexpected surprises when installing dependencies at bootstrap, and thus only look for explicited alternatives, and not for provides. A lot of packages have thus been doing that for a long time. Samuel
